Our history begins in 1994. My adult daughter, Shannon Campbell, and I decided to enter the cat fancy. We began with Ocicats and acquired our first from Lisa Horn of Meowy-Kazowy. We've been fortunate to have great success with our ocicats, especially after our partner, Victoria Garvin, joined us in 1998. We had been Ociopia and the three of us joined to form MOIRAI cattery.
We have bred and co-owned two national winners - NW, GC Ociopia Godzuki of Saga and NW, GC Moirai Wedjat, and a number of regional winners, i.e., RW, GC Moirai Set, RW, GC Walnuthollow Hyperion of Ociopia, DM, RW, GC Moirai Hanuman. We no longer breed ocicats.

In 1996, we acquired our first Maine Coon and my love affair began! I bred Ch Meowy-Kazowy Miss Marple of Mainesuspect to RW, GC The Cat Hut Dizzie Gillespie to produce our first Grand Champion, GC Mainesuspect Dashiell Hammet. We then acquired our "foundation" queen, Ch Meowy-Kazowy Emma Peel of Ociopia, who bred to SGC, GC SaraJen Bookers Kentucky Straight (Tuck) produced the wonderful litter with quite a history. The three significant cats from this litter were Ch Mainesuspect The Usual Suspects, QGC Mainesuspect India Pale of Sarajen and GC Mainesuspect Profiler of Tropikoons.

 Profiler is one cat short of being a D.M. and we hope to D.M. him in 2010.
 
Mainesuspect has also produced a female D.M., who is also a daughter of Ch Meowy-Kazowy Emma Peel of Ociopia.
 
Mainesuspect Caol Ila of Sarajen, D.M. Her five offspring were all granded in TICA. Congratulations to Teri Matzkin and this wonderful accomplishment.
